Berlin Wall: TV Tower

The TV Tower stands in Alexanderplatz. It was completed in 1969 and stands 365 metres high. It was intended as a symbol of the permanence of East Berlin and the German Democratic Republic. In approximately 40 seconds, the lifts will take you up 203m to the revolving restaurant at the top where you can view a panorama of the city.
